Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Quill & Cradle iOS application (the "App"), operated by ByteQuill LLC ("we," "us"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies except where these Terms supplement it.
1. The App
Quill & Cradle helps caregivers track a baby's feeds, sleep, diapers, growth, medications, vaccinations, and appointments, and share that record within a household. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
2. Not medical advice
The App, including reminders, schedule suggestions, the vaccine schedule reference, daily summaries, and the Quill AI companion, provides general information and record keeping convenience only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified healthcare professional. Always consult your pediatrician or other provider about your child's health, medications, dosing, and immunizations. If you believe your child is experiencing an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
3. Quill & Cradle Plus subscription
- Quill & Cradle Plus is an optional auto-renewable monthly subscription that unlocks the Quill AI companion. The price is shown in the App before purchase and is charged to your Apple account.
- The subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your Apple account settings (App Store → your profile → Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Billing and refunds are handled by Apple; see our Refund Policy.
- AI usage within Plus is subject to fair-use limits designed to keep the service sustainable; current limits are enforced automatically in the App.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to gain unauthorized access to other households' data, probing or disrupting our services, or using the Quill AI companion to generate content unrelated to the App's purpose.
5. Your data
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect and how to export or delete your data.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteQuill LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the App, and our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time; you can delete your account and data from Settings inside the App.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
